Last summer I wrote about mermaid’s tails (aka aquamarines). I just love them and put them in my baubles often. This year I am getting with the program, and am attempting to stay relevant by talking about them during their time to shine: March. That would be NOW! These gorgeous rocks are the birthstone designated for this month and I am very excited to showcase some of the aquas I picked up in Tucson.
All of these watery blue trinkets are for sale in the shop. Each image is linked to its listing. You can check out ALL the aquamarine pieces available by clicking on the photo below.
Now, I’d like to give a little educational talk (this way YOU will be better informed because of ME!!): Aquamarines are the blue form of BERYL. When beryl is green, it is an emerald, pink beryl is morganite, and yellow beryl is called heliodor. Class dismissed.
Hail the multi faceted beryl. Lovely the beryl bling!
Such lovely pieces!
Thank you! To two of my biggest supporters!!
